I am wondering if there is a way to view all contributions and adjustments made (ie a transaction history) for contributions? I have reports (prepared and printed in early 2012) showing contributions made and allocated to a specific envelope number, however the amounts are not showing on the Official Receipt for Income Tax Purposes. ?? Help?

Try using the posted contributions report. This will show all contributions posted to an envelope.
You might also try the view posted contributions screen. This will show all contributions to an envelope number as well. If you click the details button, you can see when and who entered the contribution.

I have looked in both reports and can not find the missing information. There are printed reports called "Unposted Contributions (In Sequence Entered)" where the amounts show as they should and were given, however they don't show on the Official Receipt. ? Is there a way to see if they were reversed? The envelope numbers are the same on both, as is the year (2012). What am I missing?

Unposted Contributions do not appear on statements, you have to POST contributions for them to be 'finalized' so to speak.

I have posted everything for the 2012 year. There are 3 that are missing. Could they have been adjusted? And how can I view any adjustments made?

Exactly what do you mean by 'adjusted' ?? If they were edited, they had to have been edited in the Unposted Transactions queue, or reversed by someone, in which case they will not appear at all.

I wondered if there was a report that would show a transaction history including items reversed, posted, entered or changed (similar to what an accounting program would show), that I could reconcile to in order to show what happened to the items that were on the 'unposted' reports but then not on the Official Receipt.

I am fairly new to Power Church and have not fully understood how the program works. I am hoping to take some online courses when time permits.

There is a contributions audit log, but it only shows certain actions, such as who posted contributions, changes to the fund account names or numbers, etc. It doesn't show things like adjustments to individual contributions, and so on.

FWIW .. any items that were posted, then reversed will not appear in the system at all as the reversal effectively zeros out the original transaction.

If what you saw in the unposted contributions queue, is not showing up on the contributors list of Posted Transactions, then I suspect they were probably reversals and are no longer applicable.
