I have created a custom report for activities.
In one of the output fields, I would like to have the parent's mobile #. Is it possible?

Off the top of my head, you could do this if the mobile phone is listed on the family mailing list record, as it is one of the fields accessible from the custom report writer.

Otherwise it is a bear to try to pick that item from the personal profiles if you're doing all members of a family.
