Extremely New to Power Church: Please Give Me GRACE!
How do I set up a Custom Report to Include:
Fund Number
Fund Name
Beginning Balance
Ending Balance

For a specific month. I will need to do this each month for Board Meetings?

Hi Cindy,

a bit more information is needed, are you talking about Accounting, or Contributions. This is important.
Also, what are you using for a definition of 'fund' ... Powerchurch uses this (from the Powerchurch v12 manual page 191)
In accounting, the term "fund" has a very specific meaning. An Accounting Fund is a selfbalancing
Chart of Accounts. We also use the "fund" terminology in Contributions, which
is a very different kind of fund. We use Contribution Funds to describe the different areas
that people can give money to. In accounting we need to think of a fund as a division, or
sub-group of your church. Each Accounting Fund has its own Assets, Liabilities, Equity,
Income, Expense and Transfer accounts.
As you can see needing to know what you're calling an accounting fund will make a difference in the answer. FWIW ... if you're talking about Accounting Funds as defined above, there is a standard report which will give you want you need: the Funds Accounting Report: Accounting Fund Balances will give you all the info you want and will also, if selected, give you the totals for the year.
