Does anyone know how to export data to Olan Mills and make a hard copy to proof?

I've tried the Personal Profiles report to Olan Mills. I ran the report, but need to open the data into Excel to check the data, but am completely lost. Olan Mills wants a hard copy along with either a disk or emailed data. How do I separate the fields, ie. comma, tabs, etc.? I can't export into MS Word because my version doesn't work with Power Church Plus. I'm on Windows XP and use Version 9.

The fields created in the PCDATA.TXT file are tab delimited.
The first column denotes the row type.
1 = Church (organization)
3 = Family
4 = Profile

The rows will have different lengths.

Thank you for your quick reply.

I was able to open the pcdata file in Word! It looks a lot easier to use than the Excel document that I was trying to create. I see the 1, 3, etc. Knowing what they mean clears up alot of my confusion.
