Finding a custom report

Post by lcrawford »

I am confused on what to do to locate and use a custom report after I create one. I want it in an excel spreadsheet. I see it listed in the export custom reports option. But when I try to open it, there is nothing usable.

The export custom report from the utilities menu is used to give someone else the report you have developed on your computer for them to use in their copy of PowerChurch Plus. For example, you developed this great church directory and the church down the street that also uses PowerChurch would like to use it as well. Use the export from the utilities menu to give them a copy of the report that they can then run on their copy of PowerChurch for their membership records.

A custom report can be used to export data in a variety of formats, including excel. In the output options, change the output option to the format you want, and select the file name. If you don't specify a path, the file will be created in the PowerChurch Plus program directory.
