A new Maintenance Release dated 03/31/2026 has been released for PowerChurch Plus Version 15.
The update will automatically download and install, but you can trigger the download by going to Help > Download Maintenance Release. You can also manually download and install the Maintenance Release by visiting https://www.powerchurch.com/mr.
PowerChurch Online servers will be updated automatically overnight. For PowerChurch Online users, no further action needs to be taken.
This Maintenance Release includes the following:
Membership
Birthday & Anniversary Report splits married couples if anniversary dates don't exactly match (03/31 vs 03/31/2026)
Contributions
Export Data - Donors first doesn't respect date filter
Export Data - Missing operand error when filtering by Personal Status code
Export Data - Contribution amounts are being rounded in some situations
Filter text can be cut off on Maintain List of Contribution Funds screen > Summary tab
Fund Accounting
Saving Check Register report to XLS can error in certain circumstances
Corrupted index file can prevent reconciliation data from being properly saved
View Posted Transactions - User with Access only permission should be able to Print Report
Accounts Payable
Add repeating item from Maintain Vendor Records doesn't add vendor name to Description field
Warn about inactive vendor prior to saving transaction
Quick Checks don't print the date on check stubs

The Birthday and Anniversary report is adding in the baptism date as an anniversary. Can this be fixed, or is there something I need to do to only get birthdays and anniversaries?
Since Anniversary isn't one of the built-in dates (only birth date is standard) there is a setting in PowerChurch to specify which date field you are using to track that.
Go to File > Preferences > Personal Profiles Setup. Assign the correct Anniversary Date Field at the bottom of the window.
Will Version 14.4 continue to be supported? $175 means I can't pay our accompanist, or the latest plumbing or AC repair. Small churches are struggling and their parishioners are struggling.
We never stop supporting older versions of the software. Version 14.4 is still under maintenance, so it will continue to receive these Maintenance Release updates. When Version 16 releases in three years or so, Version 14 will then stop being updated with Maintenance Releases. If you rely on 941, W2, or 1099 tax forms, it would then require upgrading.
