Can I modify the canned pictorial directory report to include email addresses?

I suspect you're trying to do a pictorial directory from the Family Mailing LIst module, this module does not have the capability to add email addresses.

The pictorial directory under the Personal Profiles module does have this capability built in.

That said, there is no way to modify the supplied reports.
