Are folders for version 8 being used by version 10?
We recently upgraded from version 8 to version 10. I am wondering if we can remove the version 8 folders from our server or if they are being used by version 10. Thanks.

If you notice, the Powerchurch installation defaults to installing a new version in a new set of directories (folders). Thi s is done to keep the versions separate as there are changes in the database, and many files that would not work across versions.believnfool wrote:We recently upgraded from version 8 to version 10. Once you've converted your data, you can remove the old version of Powerchurch. You should remove version 8 using the Add/Remove Programs application under the Windows Control Panel. You should have a separate entry for Powerchurch 8. This will remove the folders as well as remove Windows registry entries that are no longer valid.
Hope this helps.
