Temporary Restrictions Correction

I have some receipts classified as Temporarily Restricted which should have been Unrestricted.

I also have some classified as Unrestricted which should have been Temporarily Restricted.

I need to fix them so they show in the correct columns on the Statement of Activity.

Assistance would be appreciated.

Do you have fund balance (i.e. 3000 series) accounts set up for each restriction? If so, go into Maintain Chart of Accounts, click on the Fund Balance account, and then click on the details button. Look to see what's in the "Type of Equity Account" drop down box. If what's shown is incorrect just click on the down arrow, select the correct type, and then click save.
