error: c:\powerchurch\pcplus10\data\appaidd.dbt is not a ta

Post by zfirst »

I am a PowerChurch Plus 10 user. Have never had any errors, so I am lost as to what is wrong :?:
I am in the accounts payable mode - I have just printed my checks and need to "post to paid items file & fund accounting". Whenever I click that command I get the following error message and then get kicked out of the powerchurch program.

Program: open
line: 27
Error: 15
Message: c:\powerchurch\pcplus10\data\appaidd.dbf is not a table

Any information that you can give will be greatly appreciated.

"Not a table" errors are generally not a good thing to see. Most frequently, this means that the database table in question, your posted Accounts Payable transactions, has become corrupted to the point that the program can not even recognize it as a table.

This is definitely something that you will need to speak with a technician about. Please give us a call at (800) 486-1800 at your convenience. There are tools available that may be able to recover data from the corrupted file, or we may just restore these files from a backup if you have one available.
