Correct Envelopes for Year-end Contribution Statements
We are having trouble locating envelopes that will work with our year-end contribution statements. The envelopes we are currently using have the window in the wrong place, which means we have to fold the statements by hand to make them display the address through the window.

You didn't say which address, I'm assuming the contributor's address, not the church's address.gardenranch wrote:We are having trouble locating envelopes that will work with our year-end contribution statements. At my last church, we found a double window envelope that worked fine. but unfortunately, I don't have that info with me here.
However, what I did was print off a statement (my own of course) then used it to head to Staples and Office Depot to check the envelopes there. I believe I finally found what I needed in one of the stores' catalogs.
I wish I could be of more assistance.

Hmmm, FWIW, we started printing statements in 1992 and this has never been an issue. We get the number 10 window envelopes. They work every time.
Sorry you are having trouble.

FWIW ... the local stores didn't carry the double window envelope we needed, which is why we had to special order them.karen wrote:Yes, we've been using #10 envelopes (both double window and single window) for many years without problem. They are available at any office supply store.
