Center "Photo Not Available"

Post by Shelley »

Is there a way to manipulate the spacing of "Photo Not Available." It is printing at the very top of the photo field off center slightly left and makes the page look awkward.

Is this in a standard directory report, or a custom report you created ??

Sorry, guess that would be helpful. :) It is in a custom pictorial directory. I did not set it up to print "no photo available," it is a default. I don't mind it there if it was spaced better.

The "Photo not available" text is actually an image that is substituted in for you, to keep the report from breaking when a picture is not found for the family or profile.

Once again, the answer to this is to enter the following into the Print When on the picture object:

right(alltrim(family_picture),12)<>"NOPHOTO2.JPG"

This will make it so we don't print the picture at all when it is nophoto2.jpg, which is the image we are substituting in.

Since it is an image, you can't change where the text sits.
