I use PowerChurch online on Windows XP. When I export a Custom Report, it gets saved on my computer as a zipped folder. When I unzip it, it gives me a folder full of database files that I, so far, can't do anything with.
When I create my Custom Report, it lets me pick the output type, like Word doc, Excel, etc. Why won't it export a file in the file format I choose?
Right now I have to create a CSV file, then copy and paste the data into Word or Excel, and it takes quite a bit of work to make it usable from there. If I could really get it to make a Word of Excel doc for me, that would be great.
Any hints?
Thanks!

Re: File format of exported Custom Reports
The file export in Custom Reports is controlled under the "Pick Output Type" screen in the Custom Report itself.
In PowerChurch Online, you will need to define your local drive path (most likely M:\something) in the Output File Name field, since not inserting a specific path will save the report file to a location on the server that you do not have access to.
It sounds like you were previously using the Import/Export Custom Reports option under the Utilities menu. This is only used to move your custom reports to another installation of PowerChurch Plus.

Thank you -- I added M:\ and it worked like a dream.
