We've using the email feature to send out the quarterly contribution statements. Our pastor has traditionally written a letter that was sent with the statements. With the use of the email feature, the Financial Secretary has had to retype that letter into the "note" field. Is there a way to either import the Pastor's letter as an attachment or to copy/paste it into the field? I'm trying to avoid requiring that she re-type this letter.
Thanks!
Margaret

Re: Email Statements
She should be able to 'Cut and Paste' the letter into the field just as you can with any Windows program.Margaret wrote:We've using the email feature to send out the quarterly contribution statements. Re: Email Statements
Yes, you should be able to copy and paste.
It may be a better idea to copy and paste into the e-mail body itself, rather than into the notes field on the statement itself.
Also, file attachments are disabled for Contribution Statement e-mails, since there will already be a file attachment of each statement PDF.

Thanks. I think it is likely to be a case of "user error." I'll try to meet with our Financial Secretary and show her how to do this. Thanks again!
