Pledge Summary Actual

I need suggestions on where to find this discrepancy:
On a Contribution Statement the contributor's:
Fund Summary Building Pledge is correct $ 1700
Pledge Summary Building Pledge Actual is not $ 1600


Selected Contributions report & Posted Contributions report are correct....$1700

Pledged to Actual Comparison report is not, it's $1600
At least it is consistantly wrong....somewhere with the ACTUAL/total received.

Any help?

It sounds like a contribution is not applied to the pledge. There is a search for contributions not applied to a pledge option that will show you contributions that could be applied to a pledge, but are not.

I just tried & it did not correct it.
I Re-indexed & it did not correct it.
Any other ideas?

Kristi,

check to see if one of the contributions listed was entered outside of the pledge period.

IE:

Pledge period:

02/01/2009 thru 12/01/2009

One contribution entered in January before the pledge period started.

I've triple checked the dates. It's not that, but....
On my posted contributions report:
01/04/2009 Fund 1100 $100.00 Ck 601 This is not appearing in Maint Pledge-P Detail
(Yes I have searched for Contributions.....oh, I just found it!!!
It's in Maintain Pledge-Pledge Detail for 2008....how do I get it out?

Go to Contributions > View Posted Contributions. Look up this person, then find the contribution, select it, and click the Change Pledge button. Choose 2009 instead of 2008. That should do it!

Another glitch I had this morning.
A few contributions I entered & posted on 11/02/09 appeared on my 2009 Posted reports, but also on my Pledge Statements for 2010.
That was easy, I just deleted the 2010 pledges & re-added them.

I do keep Re-indexing, but I hope I don't have a virus hiding in my PowerChurch.
