Inconsistent Reports

I have a contributor who pledged $10,000 this year but did not actually contribute. His contribution statement however shows $10,000 in the "actual" column even though no money was ever received. Pulling up a "Pledged to Actual" report also shows $10,000 received even though it was not. When going to "posted contribututions" for this person it shows zero which is correct. Why the error and why the inconstency in similiar reports? How do I fix this? Thank you!

Is there any amount for the pledge start balance? You find this when you edit the pledge record.

Also, check to see if the amount was contributed last year for crediting to this year. Many people do that in order to take advantage of the deduction.

It ended up being a contribution entered in 2008 and posted to a 2009 pledge. It appears to be an entry error. Thank you for helping me figure this out!
