changes not showing in directory
I have made changes to people's profile but when I run the church directory they don't show up? Any suggestions??

I noticed that you posted this both under Powerchurch ONLINE and also in the custom reports. What version of Powerchurch are you using, that is, are you using the version that you install locally on your computer and network, or are you using the one where you use the client to access the data on the Powerchurch servers ??

Then you are using the regular program version, not Powerchurch Online. So this is actually a Membership module issue.centralbaptist wrote:I have version 9
OK, unfortunately we're going to need more information:
1. Are you running PC+ and doing the updates across a network, or on the main computer.
2. Has anyone else done backups and restores to the database ??
3. Exactly which changes have you done that are not showing up?
4. Which church directory report are you trying to run? The one under Family Mailing List, or the one under Personal Profiles ??

I don't understand the first question. I am making the changes on my computer and have saved all of them. When I open up the database, the correct info is there...it is only when I try to create a directory that the changes don't show up. None of the changes I make (i.e. email, phone number, new address) are showing in directory. I have tried running the directory from both personal profiles and family mailing list.

It sounds like you have duplicate profiles. If you make a change in Family Mailing List or Personal Profiles, the change will be reflected immediately on reports. When you click the Locate button on the Maintain Personal Profiles screen, do you see the person listed twice, possibly with different spellings or different name formats (like Robert & Bob)?
