Hi everyone. I have entered pledges and am having some phantom pledges show up on the report. For example, envelope #1 should only have a $100 one time pledge to her name, but instead she's got two extra pledges showing up on the report that are not showing on the Maintain Pledges screen (just her one pledge is showing up). But like I said, these phantom pledges are appearing on the Pledge Report. If I delete envelope #1's pledge, it applies the phantom pledges to another envelope. All other pledges are accounted for and accurate. All of my pledges are entered as one-time pledges with Jan. 1st start date and April 4th cut off date. Does anyone have any thoughts as to what's going on?
Thanks in advance!

There seems to be a disconnect here.ksm wrote:Hi everyone. I have entered pledges and am having some phantom pledges show up on the report. First off ... which Pledge Report are you referring to? This may help us figure out what you're seeing.
Second .. when you delete the "pledge", you say another envelope gets the Pledge listed, are you saying that this pledge shows up on the Maintain Pledge screen for the other personal profile/envelope ??
Finally, what version of PCPlus are you running??

Re: Pledge Error
First: The Pledge Report I'm referring to is titled "Pledged to Actual Comparison".
Second: On the "Maintain Pledges" screen of both donors, only the actual pledges made are showing, it does not reflect the "phantom" pledges that appear when I print the "Pledged to Actual Comparison".
Third: I'm running the 10.4 version of PCPlus.
Second: On the "Maintain Pledges" screen of both donors, only the actual pledges made are showing, it does not reflect the "phantom" pledges that appear when I print the "Pledged to Actual Comparison".
Third: I'm running the 10.4 version of PCPlus.
Re: Pledge Error
What are the dates on the 'phantom pledges' ?? Are they within the period set for the begin and end dates of the report ??ksm wrote:First: The Pledge Report I'm referring to is titled "Pledged to Actual Comparison".

Re: Pledge Error
Yes, the pledge dates are all set between 1/1/10 & 4/4/10.
Re: Pledge Error
OK .. this is getting weird.ksm wrote:Yes, the pledge dates are all set between 1/1/10 & 4/4/10.
I'm also taking it that all these 'phantom' pledges are for the same Contribution Fund.
Quick suggestion, run a REINDEX of all files to make sure that the database has the correct links between files.
You can do this from the Utilities -> Reindex selection from the main menu bar.

You're telling me it's weird!!!
I just did the reindex, and nothing changed. I tried to attach a screen shot, but it won't upload.

Re: Pledge Error
Yeah, they have a thing about uploading screen shotsksm wrote:You're telling me it's weird!!!I just did the reindex, and nothing changed. I tried to attach a screen shot, but it won't upload.

OK ... why don't you email me via the link here, and I'll reply with a location to send that screen shot. Perhaps I may be able to help you 'user to user'.
