Question:
In trying to organize this startup church, I am trying to figure out the best way to handle scheduling readers, ushers, acolytes etc.
Do you use activities and skills module to mark someone as an usher or reader etc and if so, how or what do you use to schedule them and e-mail reminders. I have looked at the google calendar but it creates a new calender for everthing....what is the proper way to organize volunteers for the church service?

Re: Ushers and Readers and Counters oh My!
Frankly, I would keep track of the people using the Activities and Skills module, but as far as scheduling, we do that outside of Powerchurch. There are volunteers who schedule our ushers and readers, and they are given the list of people who have volunteered to usher or be liturgists. Other than that, nothing else is done in Powerchurch.pcu55303 wrote:Question:
