Continued Reports Issue V. 9

Post by tborgal »

Still have an issue with the "Income and Expense by Month" report. When running it at a level 3 only Total income and expense amounts are displayed. None of the level 3 Group accounts have any data associated with them. This report works fine at this level in the other three Income and Expense reports.

Also have a bit of an issue with the way some reports display prior to printing. Some of the information on the right side of the page runs together so it can't be read. They seem to print OK however. Is this a problem with my fonts or is this a problem with everone?

Thank you for pointing out the issue related to the "Income and Expense by Month" report. This will be investigated, corrected and put into a MR after testing.

As for the preview problem you mentioned, the displaying of the right side of the screen does occasionally have problems. This appears to be related to the preview size and the printer driver installed. Changing the preview zoom percentage allows you to see those missing or corrupted characters. We have not seen this problem on the printed report, as you mentioned. It is not seen on every machine we have tested, and have not been able to narrow down a specific reason why it does happen.

Thanks for the response to my questions. Must say that this is the best system I have ever seen for resolving problems with software. The user base and tech support is incredable.

Thanks again.

The reports are written in Unicode. I had a problem with the beta on an HP932c printer, using the usb input. Any date, time, number, or dollar amount, would over print after the colon or comma, slash or any other similiar mark. This was covered quite thouroughly in the beta forums.
Switching to the normal input cleared the problem. If you are using an USB input to your printer, that may be the problem.

I just looked back at your post, and see that this was not your problem. Sorry.
