Printing cheques

Post by janehelp »

Hi

I am a first time user for the accounts payable module. I used to write cheques manually and enter the transaction later.

I want to start using the accounts payable module and be able to print computerized cheques. I am reading the manual but i think I am missing a small detail... Is there a cheque form setup I should use?

Please tell me

Thank you

If you order the checks from a company that is recommended by Powerchurch, you shouldn't have a problem, just select the check format in the system Preferences and you should be fine. If you're ordering checks from someone else, I would run a few tests on blank paper, then hold a check and the paper up to a light to see if the printing on the blank paper matches up. If it does, you're set, if not you'd have to adjust the check layout.

There is a tutorial to do that here: http://powerchurch.com/support/kb/kbvie ... icle_id=88

There is also some info on the Canadian features available here: http://powerchurch.com/support/kb/kbvie ... icle_id=69

And an article on recommended checks here: http://powerchurch.com/support/kb/kbvie ... icle_id=52
