Sending bulk emails without labels for spouse

We want to send our newsletter by email. We have some households where one member has an email address, but the other does not. If we send an email to, say, the husband, and the wife doesn't have an email, it is trying to print a label for the wife as someone who doesn't have an email address. We tried unchecking the "include in bulk mailings" box, but it still wants to print a label for the wife. How do we avoid this?

All you should need to do is select the No Further Processing selection on the screen that appears after the selection screen:

That will stop any labels or reports from being printed or displayed.

The thing is, I WANT the labels to print for the households with *no* email. I just don't want a label for the households where one member has an email.

Which version of Powerchurch are you running ?

Version 11 has a Family Email Address on the Family Mailing List record that will allow you to send emails to one and only one address in a family. You would send out a bulk email through the Family Mailing List function under Membership. The initial setup would take some time, but it then would be available.

FWIW ... I just checked in version 11, and one person with an email that I have checked NOT to include in the bulk email, appears in the list of those without email addresses.

Somehow I think that the Include in Bulk Mailing flag is not being recognized.

because of the issue listed, I tested on my system. Version 11 with the latest MR.

I unchecked the bulk email flag on the personal profile, then selected the send email to a group function under personal profiles.

I asked for a report and got the email listed in the report:

She did not appear in the labels when I asked for labels to be printed.

Also tested this in version 10, with latest MR.

She shows up in the report, and also in the labels !!
