disable backgrounds

Post by mattg »

Hi,

We have powerchurch 11 installed. I do a lot of remote connections via RDP for system administration.

Is there any way I can turn off the backgrounds within powerchurch? over my slow cell phone internet connection they often bring my session to a standstill while they redraw.

Thanks!

The Powerchurch System Admin should access the File -> Preferences -> User Setup. Uncheck the Display background on main screen checkbox.

The options that you see under User Setup Options are specific to each user, so changing it in the System Admin user will only change it for that user. The next time you log in, do so like you normally would, then, as Neil said, go to File > Preferences > User Setup Options and uncheck the background picture option.
