Background Check Report

Post by FBCMoyock »

I know I can pull a report of people needing a background check, but I don't see a report or a custom report field so I can create a report of people with completed background checks.

Currently I don't believe there is one. This may be something you would want to request via an email to wishlist@powerchurch.com.

The lack of basic reporting features is really starting to get frustrating. Thanks for the response, I'l make the recommendation

FWIW ... this is a new feature that was added in V11 ... I don't believe its a lack of reporting features, its just that no one asked for such a report showing current background checks, only one reporting who needs to renew or get one.

I would like to be able to print a report that shows profiles by the date the background check was run. But I do not even see the code on the custom reports page. :(

Again, the Powerchurch development staff are very responsive to user requests. If you ask via email to wishlist@powerchurch.com for such a report, it is very possible that the report could appear in any update to the program.

I've gotten a few reports added over the years, so I know it can be done. You just need to be proactive, let them know exactly what you want to see on a report, and it may be created. Even if you'd like to have the data item appear as part of the custom reports data set, ask ... and you may just receive !!

Background checks have their own user access privilege. If it were available in Custom Reports, it would be part of the information available to anyone with Activities & Skills or Personal Profiles privileges. It isn't possible to make certain fields of information available to only certain people in the Custom Reports or Access Export. You either get all of the fields under Personal Profiles or you don't, based on the access restrictions designated by the System Admin when they set up your account. Someone you have specified should not have access to the background check information would have access to it if it was available in Custom Reports or the Access Export.

As Neil said, send in your suggestion to the wishlist with specifics as to what information you would like the background checks report to include, what kind of selections you would like it to make, etc. and it will be seriously considered.
