Contribution Statement
I need to receive testimonials on how the use of Contribution Statements in your Church have helped you increasing in the tithing and offerings. I am the Treasurer of my Church and I just distributed last Sunday, the Contribution Statements to the members. During the last assembly I received a negative reaction from two leaders of the Church, claiming that it looks like an invoice and collection statement and that it will cause members to leave or not pledge, since we are comparing the pledge to the actual offerings. Please send any testimonial that could help to deal with these reactions. God Bless you all!

We use it as a quarterly statement letting people know where they stand in regards to their giving and on their pledge. It is especially helpful as we approach the summer months when the collection tends to be smaller, and the operating income less.
We also add at the bottom a message thanking them for their contribution in support of the work of the church spreading the Gospel. It definitely helps to keep people reminded that what we have is not ours, and should be given freely.
Frankly, I've not seen this sort of complaint in the over 14 years I've been using the product, in three different churches. Was this the first time you distributed these?

Re: Contribution Statement
We also use these quarterly as well as year-end. We have been using PC+ since 2007 and I've had nothing but expressions of gratitude. It has been really helpful in a few instances where mistakes were made in entry (or when people thought they had changed a pledge but that detail never made it to the bookkeeper) and the donors have been able to have them corrected sooner rather than slogging through all that stuff at the end of the year when everything is always so confusing already!wilfredo wrote:I need to receive testimonials on how the use of Contribution Statements in your Church have helped you increasing in the tithing and offerings. Thank you....your testimonial will really help.
Yes, this was the first time to distribute the letters during a regular Assembly meeting. The letter had been presented to the Board of Directors and approved to be distributed. God Bless you! Wilfredo
