Copy Last Year's Budget askew
Using version 9.0 with Maint release 11/09, when trying to use the option to copy last year's budget to this year, in Maintain Chart of Accounts, Account Detail, Budget tab, if your fiscal year is different than the calendar year, what appears to happen is the monthly amounts from Jan through the end of your fiscal year copy over ok, but the months before Jan get copied over to the same months of the next fiscal year, not your current one. In our case when trying to set up FY 2005 budget, using this copy option, the amounts for Oct-Dec 2003 got copied over to Oct-Dec 2005 (which is the first quarter of FY 2006) instead of Oct-Dec 2004 for first quarter of FY2005. The monthly fields appear to copy over ok when you first click the copy button, but as soon as you click 'save' the Oct-Dec fields in our case changed to 0.00, and when clicking on 'Next Year', the missing amounts appeared in Oct-Dec 2005. This seems akin to the problem where the Annual Budget Worksheet report doesn't add up correctly when fiscal year is different than calendar year.
