E-mailing contribution reports

Post by Bossed »

When I try to email our contribution statements, I have gotten the following message 3 times and then been kicked out of the program:
PROGRAM: FRM_COPRN8.SEND_EMAILS
LINE: 41
ERROR: 1733
MESSAGE: Class definition ADODB.CONNECTION is not found
I was able to print the statements that could not be emailed.
Is there something I need to fix?
I am running PC11 with latest MR update.
Thanks!

Wow .. I haven't seen this error since v9. The fix then was to run the NETSETUP program found in the x:\Powerchurch\PCLUS11(or PCPLUS115 if you're running 11.5)\INSTALL directory. I'd try that first.

I tried the fix; it did not work. I still cannot email and I am kicked out of the system when I try. The email connection test passed. I notice when I get to the final email screen that it does not give me the ability to go to NEXT, I only have PREVIOUS or FINISH available.

Best call the Powerchurch support line direct.

FWIW ... at the last step, all you'll see is the PREVIOUS and FINISH, as the FINISH is the button that starts the process.

Try running the PC???OLEDB.EXE in the install folder.
For PowerChurch v11.5 it will defaults to c:\powerchurch\pcplus115\install\pc115oledb.exe

I have that problem too. If anyone can figure it out, let me know.

I am also having a problem when emailing contributions in version 10.4. Sometimes I receive the error "Power Church has encountered a problem and needs to close." Other times it is "bulkmail connect 23 error 1426 OLE error code 0x800200006 unknown name."
