How do I transfer asset account income and expense accounts from one fund to a newly created fund?
I want to take the General Savings and put it into a new Savings Fund away from general operating

Assuming the "old" fund number is 01 and the "new" fund number is 02:
CR 01-1210-000 old savings $4,000
DB 01-9210-000 transfer $4,000
DB 02-1210-000 new savings $4,000
CR 02-9210-000 transfer $4,000
CR 01-1210-000 old savings $4,000
DB 01-9210-000 transfer $4,000
DB 02-1210-000 new savings $4,000
CR 02-9210-000 transfer $4,000
