I recently upgraded to V9 and so far really like the new features, however I want to make sure that I understand correctly that I don't have to close out the year with this version and that instead of having month 13 it will take me right into January?
That's right. You can leave December open if you'll need to post anything into it once you get your bank statement (interest earned, bank fees, etc). You just change your working month to January and keep going. Close December whenever you're ready.
