Maintaining Descriptions

Post by SBCTrustee »

I am attempting to add skills and activities but am confused when I review the descriptions listing. I am not sure how the skills & activity listings and the descriptions are to be used together. I am also not sure if the accounting module uses these skills codes in any way. I have a different finance department and don't want to undo anything that they've done with these codes if they are, in fact, using these skill codes in any way. It also seems to me that I would have to pre-setup a description for each and every activity and/or skill. Would that mean I would have thousands of descriptions? I think need a little bit of hand-holding on this one. Thanks for any/all your help.

Skills and activities are membership module components and are completely separate from the accounting modules. The descriptions and names are entirely up to you, you have the power to create anything you want to cover the skills and activities at your site.
