Need help with checks printing too light

Post by CuMc1233 »

Hi, We just starting using PowerChurch and I am having trouble with my checks printing extremely light. Everything else that prints from my computer prints out fine, but when I printed checks from Powerchurch for the first time, they print so light you can hardly see them. Is there a way to change the font or something so they will print darker?

Powerchurch just uses the default printer setup on your computer. You could reset the properties when you print from Powerchurch to print darker, or you could create a custom check format from the check format you're using. Then select all and change the font to a different font, or set the font to bold.

This knowledgebase article should help: https://www.powerchurch.com/support/kb.php?id=87&type=1

You'll need to Ungroup the data groupings in order to change the font. All you should need to do is change from normal to bold.

I did what Neil is outlining a few years ago and it works just fine. It's pretty simple to do.
