I've been updating our chart of accounts and our list of contribution funds. We had a power blip today and now I'm having trouble--getting an error message and then PCP9 shuts down when I go to save the new contribution fund # and account #s. It doesn't do it every time, but every 1-5 times. I downloaded the maint. releases and reinstalled them. Any other suggestions? Sometimes it gives the message internal consistency error, then fatal error exception code-C0000005.....
Do I need to totally reinstall PCP?

From wat you are describing, one of the contribution files probably was corrupted during the power fluctuation. If you have a current backup, you could restore that to take care of the problem. If you don't or have done a considerable amount of work since the last backup, contact technical support. Most likely you will have to send in your data files for us to look at the extent of the corruption and determine if it can be repaired.
