Check Register Report Bug

Post by tborgal »

I just attempted to run a check register report and in the Options Window I am unable to select the All Dates option in the Dates From field. Don't know if this was introduced with the most recent maint. release which is what I am on in version 11.5.

Is it giving you a message or you just can't click on the All Dates option? I have tried it in multiple installs and can't reproduce a problem.

When I click on the option it does not change. No message. However I just checked it after shutting down PC+ and restarting it and it now works as it should. I was working on remote computer so I am not sure if that had anything to do with the problem.

This problem returned again today. This happened on a remote computer running Windows 7 connecting to a host computer running Windows XP, this is the same configuration I was using yesterday. A few tests produced the following. When the initial attempt failed I checked the next option below All Dates "Today" and it did not work either. I then tried "Yesterday and it did work. When I then tried "All Dates" it too worked. I shut down the Reports window and tried it again and it again would not work. I continued to select "All Dates" and on the third attempt it worked. I then tried the host and it worked fine on the first attempt. After I did that it worked every time on the remote as well. PC+ was not open on the host when I was having the problem on the remote and no other user was connected. I then decided to reboot the remote to see if the problem would come back and it did not. However I can not remember if I had shut down PC+ on the host. I tested the problem here at home with the same remote but now the host was my home PC running Windows 7 and could not reproduce the problem. This is not a problem that I would run into very often since I seldom use anything but the host when I am at the church, but it is an interesting one that may or may not be worth the time to figure out.
