Payroll - 53 weeks
We pay weekly on Fridays and 2004 has 53. Is there a recommended way to handle this?

You could just not pay everyone one week! Let them pick the week they want to skip. 
If you pay by the week, every 5 or 6 years there will be a 53rd pay date.
There is really nothing to "handle". That's just the way it is.

That's exactly right.
If you do decide to go with the "skipping a week" suggestion instead, could you videotape when you make the announcement? I'm sure that would be quite a spectacle.
