Got a question or comment about PowerChurch that doesn't belong anywhere else? Why not post it here!?

pcp on mobile device

Post by denniston »

I was wondering if Power Church Plus would run on a Win 8 based tablet? Such as http://slickdeals.net/permadeal/97424/s ... s-8-tablet

This would make it easier to record attendance and do check in.

Now ... I bet that Powerchurch Check-In would run, you would install the kiosk from the main Powerchurch shared drive. As long as the tablet has wifi to the church network and access to the server shouldn't be an issue.

And that deal on that tablet is very good $100 off making the cost $279.99 ... !!

It says "full Windows 8", which seems to indicate it is the desktop version of Windows. If that is the case, then yes, it should work just fine.

Tablets running Microsoft's Windows RT, which is not a desktop Windows OS, cannot be used with PowerChurch products.
