Account Numbers in Income & Expense Report

We would like to use the Income and Expense report to generate our monthly church financial statement. The custom column selections are exactly what we need with the exception of the missing ability to list account numbers. Is there a way to add account numbers to this report? Ideally they would appear in the list of column options.

One way you could do this would be to add the account number to the beginning of the description field for that account in your chart of accounts.
