closing accounting year

Post by pstafford3 »

is it a problem if your fiscal year ends in september but you haven't closed yet in October? I actually haven't closed since august because of a transaction issue to resolve. Is this a problem? This is my first year in powerchurch.

If you're talking about closing months, no, not at all. In fact, its advised that you don't close months unless you have to. You can have 18 months open at one time (version 10+ only)

If you talk about reconciling the accounts, perhaps.
