For some reason it did not post to the account..even though everything else I entered today did.
I'm not in Power Church but there is in reports an option to see unposted contributions.
I did that..saw the contribution and had it allocated to the correct envelope..
In regards to my original question..I have no idea and it's not fixed..
The amount is not posted twice... but shows up that he contribution double his pledge..

head to Contributions -> Pledges -> Maintain Pledges
Look up the contributor, then highlight the pledge for this year, then click on the Pledge Detail button. Look to see if there is ANY Pledge Start Balance if there is, I suspect it says $2,000.00.
To fix this, close the detail window, and click on Change, and enter zero in the Pledge Start Balance. Then click on OK ... the problem should now be solved.

I am new to Power Church only five months, so next time, it will be the first thing I look for!!!
