Assigned Deacon Field?
Is there a field in which to put the name of the assigned deacon in PowerChurch 11.5. If so, please point me in the direction. Thanks.

You can create a Custom Code for this. (You have to be logged in as Administrator).
1) File / Preferences / Person Profile Setup / [Codes] tab
You can create up to 10 Code Subject Headings. Then,
2) Membership / Person Profiles / Setup / Maintain Custom Codes / [ADD]
You will see your 10 Code Subject Headings and you can ADD values to each Heading.
I would setup a Heading called "Deacons" in Step 1), and add names of Deacons in Step 2)
To assign a Deacon to a Member,
3) Membership / Personal Profiles / Maintain Person Profiles / [LOCATE] member/ [Notes and Codes] tab
You will see your "Deacon" Subject Heading with a drop-down box and the Names in the choices.

Well .. there is an easier way.
On the Family Mailing List profile, the second tab Other Information has two areas you can use for such things:
1. The Visit Area: here you can assign an area that the family is located. You can add the code on the fly using the <add new code> selection.
2. The Who Visits area, where you can add a name. Again, you can add the name on the fly.
