Guess who?

Had some "stuff" happening here. I am ready to take the steps you prescribed. I have one issue to resolve. There is no CD/DVD drive on the server - only USB-style ports. Do you believe that the original install was done through PC1 onto the server, perhaps? Otherwise, how should I take that step?

That's a good possibility, however, if you have a 1GB USB flash drive, copy the entire CD over to that drive, then run the install from there.

That said, other ways to do this is to SHARE the CD/DVD drive from PC1 on the network, and then map that drive on the Server; or get a USB external CD/DVD drive to use on the Server.

FWIW .. at some point you're going to have to upgrade or install software on that server so doing it one way or the other would give you that CD/DVD you would probably need.

My suggestion ... move all your accounting into Powerchurch Why use two programs, when you can have one that covers it all, and costs less when its time to upgrade

Seriously, if you have a multi-user copy of Quickbooks, I would do a backup of the database, then follow their directions on uninstalling, and reinstalling for multi-user use.

FWIW .. I use Quickbooks for my business, but only as a single user, so I can't help here that much.
