Google Cal sync - hour off time?

Since the update to the new version of Google Calendar Sync with the latest maintenance release, the events that are appearing on the church Google Calendar are an hour later than they should be! I know I am not the only one having this issue, see https://www.powerchurch.com/forum/viewt ... ync#p35025 for someone else also having the problem. Any idea how to fix this, or, if it's a battle between Power Church and Google's API, WHEN it will be fixed? I've checked the time zone in Google Calendar, that's not the problem.

It is something that came with the redesign of the Google Sync process. We are working on it and will issue a new Maintenance Release when the issue is resolved.

Thanks for the update. I was having the same issue yesterday and it was recommended that I check my Google settings - I did they are all correct.

I tried to remove the calendar information until this issue is resolved and this is the error I get:
gsync115 has stopped working

Further information:

This only affects PowerChurch Online users and is caused by the inability of the system to recognize daylight savings vs. standard time.

UPDATE: We have updated PowerChurch Online with a new Google Calendar Sync which should resolve this issue. Let us know if you continue to have problems with it.

Still having the issue. Attempted to remove synced items and got the same error at the poster above mentions, "gsync115 has stopped working".

We are testing a new build right now that we are hoping to be able to install on the PCO servers before the end of the day today.

We have now released the new Maintenance Release that fixes these issues with the Google Sync. The PowerChurch Online servers will be updated automatically overnight tonight.

Thank you! I was able to eliminate all of the synced items in Google Calendar and then resync successfully.

I am now able to remove synced events from Google Calendar, but when I sync the time is still off by 1 hour.

Just to cover all bases, what Time Zone is your Google calendar set to ?

I am still having issues. I tried removing the events, that doesn't even happen. I then tried just syncing them, still has the wrong time.

There is a new build of the Google Sync app up on the PowerChurch Online servers. PCO users can now remove all synced events and then run the sync again. Events should now have the correct time regardless of whether or not daylight savings time is in effect.

Local PowerChurch Plus users should not be experiencing any of these issues. The problem is related to the IDS Client.
