Deposits not posting

Post by TBCgunni »

We have two computers synced with PC. Everything is syncing as usual except for contributions as of late. The 23rd of November did not and had to be reentered into other computer, then 11/30 and 12/7 did sync and post correctly and now 12/14 is not anywhere to be found and we have all the reports from entering it. What are we doing? What should we check. All the other modules seem to be syncing fine. :wall: Thank you - Elida Jacobs

Elida ..

how are you 'syncing' the computers ?? Obviously, you're not on the same database, so what is your procedure ?? It sounds like whatever you're doing is overwriting Accounting and Contributions.

We have the two computers networked through PC - exact procedure I don't know. It is as we have always had it for at least 4 years that I am aware. Thank you - Elida

Elida, if both machines are networked, I hope they are using the same database, which is the way it should be done. Which tells me that someone is restoring the database from a previous backup and not taking into account changes that may have been made.

I'd check the system audit log to see what is going on.
