Making a church directory - I have some alternate address I don't want published - but when I uncheck them it also unchecks the primary address - I don't want to delete the alternate address at this time.

Assuming you're using v11.x ..

Not sure why you need to uncheck addresses, as one of the report options on the Church Directory reprots under both the Family Mailing List and Personal Profiles give you the options of using the main address, the address currently in use, or both main and alternate.

However the Profile Pictorial Directory does not have that option. However, the Personal Profile's Church Directory report can display pictures.

Thanks for the reply - my problem is I just don't want a couple of the alternate not to be in this years directory (not photo directory) - just addresses, emails, phone #. So there are just two alternate addresses I don't want to print. I uncheck them on their own page but that unchecks the alternate and the primary. The only way I can see to do it is completely delete the alternate and proceed with the print. Thoughts??

OK .. I see what you're saying. You have two Mailing List Profiles that have alternate addresses you do not want to show up on the directory, however, you have many more that you want to show both the primary and the alternate.

This is a situation where you're going to have to delete the alternate then run the report.

The good news is this, you don't have to delete then reenter those two addresses:

1. Do a backup of the database.
2. Delete the two alternate addresses
3. Run the Directory report
4. Restore the database.
