Name change

Post by RC_USER »

I have a couple just married March 6. Up until this time they had separate envelopes. Now they want a combined envelope #. What's the best way to fix a couple months into the year?

1. Make sure couple's Personal Profiles are listed under the same Mailing List Profile if not already done.
2. Using the Contributions Reassign Envelope Number move one envelope to the other.
IE: She has envelope 127, he has 153. Reassign 153 to 127 .. bingo, its done and all contributions listed on the one, will be merged into the other, and envelope 153 will be freed up for use next year. Again, this only works (and the system will only allow it) if the personal profiles are under the same Mailing List profile.

Yep, the contributions are merged into one statement. I believe even if they both gave cash on the same Sunday, it will show up as two contributions on that day.
