Cash Flow Statement

Post by TimothyW »

Would anyone know where I could generate a Cash Flow Statement in PCP11? While this is a report that churches typically provide, I don't see this as a reporting option. Thanks for your help.

Look under "Accounting" then "Reports Fund Accounting" you will see listed "Check Register by Fund (Was Cash Flow)". Is this the report you are looking for?

I don't believe so. This report/register is more like a checkbook, which isnt the same as the Cash Flow Statement. CFS is one of the standard reports most churches and nonprofits use along with the balance sheet and income/expense statement.

I use the Cash Management Report.
I miss the ledger/check register view that Quick Books has and have found the Cash Management Report to be somewhat helpful.

FWIW ...

The description of the Cash Management Report is: Displays available balance from selected bank accounts, after subtracting amounts from selected liability and equity accounts. Includes unposted totals from Contributions, Accounts Payable, Payroll and Fund Accounting.

The description of the Check Register By Fund (was Cash Flow) report is: Displays a list of transactions that have affected the checking account, separated by accounting fund. You can choose to tun a detail or summary report for the specified accounting month.
