Modify the web check in page

Post by bgottschalk »

I would like to have a different check in page, instead of checking in by individuals. I would like to select an activity and list those that are members of that activity and allow me to check the ones I want checked in.

At the moment this is for Sunday school classes. I want to give them the ability to have a tablet and check in from their class rooms, instead of paper.

Is this something that you have available somewhere or does it need to be made by us? If by us, where can I find a list of items that I can point to, so I can make this happen?

I have found the default but don't have enough info to know what to pull from to make this happen. If this is a service you provide, what would be the cost to do this?

Are you talking about something other than Powerchurch Check-in? Other than that add-on program, I don't believe there's anything else close to what you're looking for currently.

Yes, I'm referring to Power Church Check in. Am I in the wrong place to ask questions about this add on perhaps?

There's a different forum for Check-In, but it won't matter, you'll get the same answer :) I do not believe there's a way to setup a check-in client for check in of only a single class. However, that may be something that is a good idea that should be sent to 'wishlist@powerchurch.com'. Explain how this will make your check-in more efficient, and why you think other congregations would use it.

If you are just wanting to record attendance and not actually use the check in features, the PowerChurch Online mobile web app has a fast attendance entry screen that works the way you are requesting. Pick an activity and a date, then you are shown a scrolling check box list of people in that activity. Checked is present/Unchecked is absent.

We host power Church on our own.

Where do I find the other forum at?

I need a list of IDs that I can call from the database to the web page.

See the answer I gave in the other forum where you asked this question. Basically, you can't do that right now. Again, I suggest calling Powerchurch directly if you want more information.
