Change Wage to Housing Allowance

When completing payroll I discovered that one of our pastors pay was incorrectly marked as wages, however, it should have been paid out as their housing allowance. Is there a way to go back and edit their payroll documentation so that money that has been paid out throughout this year is recorded as housing allowance and not wages?

Go to Accounting > Payroll > Setup and choose Maintain Item Descriptions. Use the Locate button to bring up the income item in question. In the Tax Options field, choose "Housing Allowance". That change will affect Payroll reporting for any period where that item was processed.
