Will you be doing an update for those of us that will be required to submit 1099-NEC forms for tax 2020 rather that 1099-MISC forms? From what I've been told, data currently reported in Box 7 of Form 1099-MISC will be required to reported in Box 1 of Form 1099-NEC for tax year 2020.
Thanks,
Melinda

Yes, Versions 11.55 and 12.2 will be updated with this before tax time.

Re: 1099-NEC Forms vs 1099-MISC Forms
Hi,
I have the update but get this when i click to print the alignment page for the 1099-nec forms:
"The requested report is not setup. Not initializing Adjustment Class".
It won't let me print the forms, either, although the forms are generated. I get:
Error (12.2020.3651)
Program: FRMAP1099.PRINT_1099NEC
Line: 12
Error: 1
Message: File does not exist.
Any assistance would be so appreciated.

I'm not getting that error here. Do you have the 12/30/2020 Maintenance Release installed?Abigail Newton wrote: ↑Fri Jan 08, 2021 11:44 amHi,

If so, try these steps in order:
1. Try a REINDEX of the database. This tends to fix a lot of issues, even if they don't seem database related. Then try printing again.
2. If #1 didn't work, try running the NETSETUP12.exe program found in the x:\Powerchurch\PCPLUS12\install directory (where 'x' is the drive you have Powerchurch installed). This reinstalls all the program files but does not touch anything else. Then try to print.
Let us know what happens.
