Here's a challenge for this crew. Our secretary wants to be able to refer back to emails she has sent in the past - recall that Outlook stashes sent emails in a "sent items" folder (as do other email programs, I believe).
We have her sending all church emails through PowerChurch, so unless she prints out the mail report after sending each message, she has no record of what she's sent (and would only have hard copies if she did print them).
This evening, I tried creating a bogus "family" with our church's name, and having one Profile (first name Secretary, last name <ChurchName>) , where the Profile has the church's email address and a unique Personal Status code.
My plan was that the secretary include this pseudo-person every time she sends an email, so the message would be copied to the church's email address. In Outlook, she would then place all such messages in the "Sent Items" folder.
Problem is, the scheme didn't work!
I tested it by tagging the new profile and my own, then sending an email message to a group (selecting by "Tagged"). The "Selected Addresses" screen, at the end of the email sequence, showed only my email address, and NOT that of the church!

Has anyone else worked out a way to copy email messages back to your own church's email address?
