Payroll set up for non-taxables and/or taxable for ss only.

Post by noah »

Can anyone tell me how to properly set up payroll with a medical flexable spending account (non-taxable) and also a pension contribution (taxable for ss and medicare only). I need the system to correctly compute the fed w/h tax; ss; medicare; and also report the proper amounts into boxes 1, 3, and 5 of the W-2. I have some employes that are salary and some that are paid hourly. It is the hourly ones that creat the most problem. Any suggestions?

I'm losing my hair very quickly!
